Preliminary data from a survey currently being conducted by IPI offers a glimpse into how COVID-19 has affected in-plants over the past year. Early results show that 14% of managers have tested positive for COVID-19, and 48% report at least one in-plant employee has tested positive. One third of respondents had to close their in-plants at some point during the pandemic. All have reopened.
We are still seeking more in-plant managers to take this survey so we can offer an even more accurate picture COVID-19's impact on the in-plant industry. We are focusing on:
- Types of work bringing in revenue during the pandemic
- New services are in-plants adding
- Safety measures in place
- Changes in revenue and employee numbers since before COVID-19
- And more
This survey will give us an in-depth look at how the pandemic has affected the in-plant industry and how in-plants are recovering. Please take the survey now at this link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/COVID-inplants
