Nearly a decade and $1 billion in the making, Xerox Corp.’s iGen3 rolled out in 2002—part of a new generation of production digital printing presses bearing the promise of changing color printing by melding together high—speed, photo-quality images and personalized data.
Today, the iGen3—assembled at Xerox’s sprawling Webster manufacturing campus—is no more, phased out over the past year by the company. But a growing number of new models spawned from the iGen platform are streaming from Building 208 at Xerox’s Webster manufacturing campus.
