Hopson concludes that even though it was a stressful time, 2008 was a banner year for the in-plant, which handled an impressive 98 percent of the company’s printing work in-house. The shop has progressed from delivering 19 million inserts in 2006 to 48 million in 2008.
“That new machine just gave us so much more capacity in that area,” he says. “We are plenty busy over here.”
