I left there about 4:30 and made a beeline for rival school Oregon State University, where I spent the next two days catching up with an international collection of in-plant managers. I gave a presentation, engaged in discussions, toured OSU's in-plant and came away with a lot of story ideas. Though my Oregon expedition may have been a bit tiring, I'm so glad to have had the chance to visit all those people and see first-hand how proud they all are of their in-plants.
