MGI Appoints Advanced Print Technologies as Distribution Partner

MELBOURNE, FL—January 31, 2013—MGI Digital Graphic Technology, the leading manufacturer of multi-substrate digital printing and finishing solutions, announces the appointment of Advanced Print Technologies as its distribution partner for the metropolitan New York City region, northern New Jersey and New England (including MA, CT, NH, VT, RI and ME).

With headquarters located in East Providence, RI, Advanced Print Technologies has been serving the offset market since 2003, delivering full service solutions for pre-owned equipment from leading manufacturers such as Komori, Mitsubishi, Heidelberg, manroland, KBA and Ryobi.

Advanced Print Technologies will handle sales and technical support for the entire MGI portfolio of versatile digital solutions, including the flagship Meteor series of multi-substrate digital presses (Meteor DP8700 XL, Meteor DP8700 S) and the JETvarnish 3D inkjet spot UV coater, which features both traditional flat spot UV coating and new 3D raised effects up to 100 microns in thickness.
