No one really wants to plan for a crisis. But as we’re learning now, disaster can strike at any time.
In a new blog by Denise Gustavson, editor-in-chief of Wide-Format Impressions, she shares several pieces of good advice that can help in-plant managers navigate the COVID-19 crisis.
“Communicate regularly and consistently with employees, customers, and suppliers,” she notes. “In a time of crisis, employees value open, transparent leadership.”
Also, take the long view, she advises. Prepare the business for the changes ahead. Look closely at both the challenges and the opportunities the crisis has brought to the fore.
