Silicone Laminating Rollers

Banner American's MightyLam 2700 laminates from .0015˝ to .010˝ gauge film and mounts materials up to 3⁄16˝ thick, easy-to-set heat controls, and a variable speed control for operating at speeds up to 10 feet per minute. It also features a safety shield, drop-down bottom idler for easy loading, silicone laminating rollers, reverse switch, adjustable slitters, forced air cooling, LCD readout, adjustable supply roll tension and variable speed control.

Three Models Available

CodaPro 44 laminators, from Coda, are available in three models. The CodaPro44 with double heated rollers will encapsulate, laminate, apply mounting adhesive, mount, or mount and laminate in a single step. It accepts thermal or pressure-sensitive adhesives and laminates. The CodaPro44 is also available with a single heated roller for heat activated and heat assist mounting and laminating and a pressure-sensitive-only version.

Laminates And Encapsulates

The Catena Series of laminators from GBC are designed to laminate, encapsulate and mount prints from color printers/copiers. The control panel allows the operator to make adjustments as needed. The Catena 35 is a thermal film laminator designed for safe, convenient, moderate laminating production in any small print shop environment. These laminators will laminate and mount prints with either Octiva thermal, Octiva Lo-Melt or Arctic pressure sensitive films.

Digital Display And Speed Control

The Ledco Industrial Series of 38˝, 50˝ and 60˝ laminators from Graphic Laminating provide heat controllers displaying set temperature and actual temperature. Laminating and pull rollers are covered with quality silicone rubber. A variable speed control enables production up to 35 feet per minute. Removable heat shoes are teflon coated, reducing abrasions. Side scrap is trimmed away during the lamination process. Rows of forced-air cooling fans are mounted above and below the film.

Foam Board Laminators

Southwest Plastic Binding's ProSeal foam board laminators come in 12˝, 25˝ or 44˝ widths. The 25˝ and 44˝ units have digitally controlled heat with a cold option, heated roller design, and utilize silicone rollers. The user places digital output into the appropriate pouch board and runs it through the ProSeal. The machine offers three options: mount and laminate, mount only, or laminate only. All of the equipment is covered with a one-year parts and service warranty.

Highest Cooling Capacity

Spiral Binding offers the Premier IV 25˝ laminator, which handles up to 10 mil. films. It boasts what is reportedly the greatest cooling capacity of any light commercial class laminator, and has the fastest threading system on the market. Precision slitters automatically trim side scrap from the sheet. Supply roll tension control assures wrinkle-free laminating. The reverse control enables you to quickly clear misfeeds. It also has right and left adjustable feed guides. The Premier IV laminates up to 10 feet per minute.
