Dawn Nye, a Production Print Solutions and Services expert at Konica Minolta, was named to the Board of Directors of Printing Industries of America (PIA) on November 21. With more than 30 years of experience in the graphic communications industry, her background ranges from typesetting to product management and education. Nye was a tenured professor at The New York City College of Technology and has taught graduate classes at Pratt Institute.
In her role at Konica Minolta, Nye's objective is to understand customers' needs and create a seamless integration of solutions, services and hardware via appropriate messaging. Nye is the recipient of a Gold Key Award from the International Graphic Arts Honor Society. Nye also serves on the TAGA Board of Directors, along with advisory board for the Continuous Improvement Conference and Color Conference.
