Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A. has announced a partnership with Epic Products International, an Arlington, Texas-based designer and manufacturer of equipment that enhances the quality and productivity of the printing process. The venture will enhance Konica Minolta’s AccurioJet KM-1 program, which markets and promotes the KM-1 to print providers worldwide.
Founded more than 40 years ago, Epic specializes in coating systems for offset and digital printing, which run in-line or near-line in both web and sheetfed press configurations. The Epic CT-750 system is known for its high performance and versatility. It supports UV, aqueous and specialty coatings such as soft touch and blister, as well as spot coating. This solution is capable of running near-line or in-line at press speeds. The Epic coater can provide protection and appeal to every printed sheet.

The AccurioJet KM-1 is a highly productive UV inkjet press capable of printing across a wide spectrum of substrates. Konica Minolta has combined the speed and flexibility of offset presses with the all the benefits of digital printing, which includes an open architecture workflow, full VDP capabilities plus the larger B2+ sheet size.
