UNC Chapel Hill Named Mail Center of the Year
The mail team completed a major evolution of services in 2009.
Other notable accomplishments:
• The mail center dramatically cut mail sorting time from 48 to 15 FTE hours daily, giving back to the university 396 FTE hours each week.
• It eliminated five part-time temporary positions, totaling 76 hours per week.
• It consolidated campus delivery routes, reducing them from 13 to 10.
