UNC Chapel Hill Named Mail Center of the Year

University Mail Services at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill was selected as Mail Center of the Year by the In-Plant Printing and Mailing Association (IPMA), in recognition of its outstanding improvements in technology, cost savings and processes.

The mail team completed a major evolution of services in 2009. It installed an OPEX Mail Matrix inbound mail sorter to automate its daily sorting and delivery process. A return on investment on the $220,000 sorter is estimated to be less than 24 months.
