IPMA to Hold Virtual Conference and Vendor Fair

The In-plant Printing and Mailing Association (IPMA) has announced that its 2021 Virtual Conference and Vendor Fair will take place June 7-18. Through the generous support of its business partners, the association will offer this virtual event at no cost to not only IPMA members but all members of the in-plant community.
“We understand the last year has been very stressful and trying for the in-plant community,” notes IPMA International President Kelly Hogg. “By offering this virtual conference, our sharing and learning will continue as we look for better ways to serve our member institutions. Our business partners have really stepped up to support IPMA, and we are so fortunate to offer our no-cost virtual conference to the entire in-plant community — members or not. I know the content will be very valuable to us all.”
IPMA was forced to cancel its in-person 2021 conference, which had been scheduled for June 6-10 in Des Moines, Iowa, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and travel restrictions. This follows the cancelation of its 2020 conference in Bonita Springs, Fla.
The virtual conference will feature 24 sessions over six days, along with a virtual vendor fair where IPMA’s business partners will provide information about their latest offerings in their individual virtual booths.
The conference will be spread out, with four sessions on each of the six days. They will include keynotes, panels, and roundtables focused on helping in-plants improve their operations and the service they offer to their parent organizations. Each session will last about 50 minutes, with opportunities for questions and answers. There will be approximately one hour between sessions, allowing attendees to balance their work responsibilities with the conference.
The tentative schedule is as follows, with all times in Central Standard Time.
- Monday, June 7: 9:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m.
- Wednesday, June 9: 9:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m.
- Friday, June 11: 9:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m.
- Monday, June 14: 9:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m.
- Wednesday, June 16: 9:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m.
- Friday, June 18: 9:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m.
Ricoh will sponsor the online virtual event application platform in addition to being one of six sponsors for the event. Other valued sponsors are Canon, Konica Minolta, EFI, RSA, and GPA.
