IPMA Conference Is Around the Corner
In a little over a month from now, the In-plant Printing and Mailing Association (IPMA) will hold its 50th conference. On this momentous occasion, it’s only fitting that this event will take place in the home town of two of the association’s main supporters. That town is Rochester, N.Y., and those supporters are, of course, Kodak and Xerox. IPMA plans to visit both companies’ facilities as part of a packed agenda of events.
The main event for in-plants this year, the IPMA conference (June 7-10) will include seven keynotes and 28 educational sessions. Well-known speaker and author (and occasional comedian) Frank Romano will be one of the featured speakers. He’ll be joined by Barb Pellow, of InfoTrends, Howie Fenton, of NAPL, and IPG Editor Bob Neubauer.
Session topics will include variable data printing, Web-to-print, multi-channel marketing, equipment justification and much more (including the question “Will Digital Ever Replace Offset?”). In between sessions, managers will have many opportunities to network and share stories. A vendor fair will give attendees a closer look at the latest technologies. And the annual awards banquet will showcase In-Print 2009 winners and honor in-plants for their achievements.
