IPG was very busy at Graph Expo this week. Not only did we host two in-plant breakfasts and a luncheon, but Editor Bob Neubauer was making videos all over the show floor. The first was an on-camera interview with Sharp's Kent Villareal about the company's foray into production printing and what it means for in-plants.
Sharp, Villareal said, is "laser focused on the light production market" and wants to help in-plants cut costs by bringing more work in-house. To that end, he talked about the company's Pro Series of digital printers, particularly the MX7500N, which was front and center at the show.
