MFP Decision Time

When selecting a new multifunctional printer (MFP) for your in-plant, never match your average monthly copy volume to the manufacturer’s rated duty cycle. Industry analysts say that, by and large, those rated duty cycles are greatly overstated—by a factor of two or three.

This is just one piece of helpful advice offered in an article in the IPG archives called "MFP Decision Time." That story advises in-plants to look for an MFP with a long drum life. This will reduce the amount of downtime associated with drum replacements.
