On Monday, the third annual Inkjet Summit will begin at the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. Started by IPG’s parent company NAPCO Media, the conference will include more than a dozen in-plants this year.
Among the in-plants that will be looking into the possibilities of production inkjet are Briggs & Stratton, Fidelity Investments, Penn State University, OGE Energy, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana, Yale University, Transamerica, Life & Protection, Washington State University, the LDS Church and the University of Texas at Austin.
The conference will start off on Monday evening with a keynote by Conference Chair Marco Boer, VP of IT Strategies, on making sense of all the inkjet technology options. A second keynote will tell the story of Belgium-based Symeta, which used to be an in-house offset printing operation for a retail group until it invested in web inkjet technology six years ago to begin producing personalized brochures.
