Next week more than 120 printers — including about two dozen in-plant managers — will converge on the seaside Ponte Vedra Inn & Club, near Jacksonville, Fla., for the sixth annual Inkjet Summit. Organized by IPG's parent company, NAPCO Media, in partnership with nGage Events, the invitation-only event will provide attendees with an in-depth education about production inkjet printing.
In his role as conference chair, Marco Boer, VP of I.T. Strategies, will start the event Monday night with a provocative keynote looking back at the past 10 years of production inkjet technology to examine whether the technology has delivered the results it promised. Also on the docket that night, Barb Pellow, of Pellow & Partners, will lead a panel discussion with four inkjet press users focusing on their success stories.
For three days, in-plant managers will mingle with printing company owners and senior-level operations managers, sharing real-life experiences and enjoying a nonstop program of keynotes, user panel discussions, case studies and expert consultant presentations. IPG Editor Bob Neubauer will lead the in-plant track, providing an update on inkjet implementations at in-plants and facilitating a panel discussion of in-plant inkjet users. Sponsors will also present in-plant case studies featuring successful inkjet implementations.
Among the in-plants attending next week are managers from Iowa State University, the University of Missouri, Intermountain Healthcare, the University of Tennessee, EMC Insurance, Mayo Clinic, Medical Mutual of Ohio, the State of Oregon, and the U.S. Government Publishing Office, to name a few.
