The seventh annual Inkjet Summit wrapped up Wednesday evening with a dinner and award ceremony. During the three-day event, attendees heard numerous case study presentations from various sponsors. They got to vote on the one they felt was most useful. When the votes were tallied, five companies prevailed. Interestingly, none of the case study winners were inkjet press manufacturers but were software, paper and finishing providers.
Best Sponsor Case Study Presentations
- In-plant Printing Segment: Solimar Systems
- Publishing Segment: Muller Martini
- Direct Mail Segment: BCC Software
- General Commercial Segment: Midland Paper
- Transaction Segment: Racami
Attendees also got to vote on the "Company to Watch Out For." This year, Canon Solutions America won that honor.
The Overall Contributing Attendee Award went to Jim Renella, Senior VP Quality Operations at Diamond Communications Solutions, an OSG company.
At the end of the awards ceremony, it was announced that next year the Inkjet Summit will move to a new venue, after seven successful years at the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club. It will take place April 20-22, 2020, at Hyatt Lost Pines, in Austin, Texas.
