After seven successful years in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., the Inkjet Summit is moving to Texas. The eighth annual Inkjet Summit will be held at the Hyatt Lost Pines in Austin, Texas, April 20-22, 2020.
Unlike other industry events open to everyone, the Inkjet Summit is an invitation-only, hosted event specifically designed for senior-level managers at printing companies and in-plants who are looking to develop strategies, understand their options, and make major investment decisions around production inkjet digital printing technology.
"The printing industry is a highly competitive industry. There is less room for error when it comes to capital investments than ever before. One needs to be sure that an investment will not just pay off on the cost side, but also on the growth opportunity side of the ledger,” commented Inkjet Summit Conference Chair Marco Boer of I.T. Strategies. “The 2020 Inkjet Summit will address how production inkjet printers offer the flexibility to positively impact both the cost and value side of the ledger, drawing upon the experience of seasoned users, brand owners, industry experts, and peers.”
The goal of the Inkjet Summit is to provide attendees with a focused conference program that covers the key topics needed to understand their options, challenges, economics and critical decision-making criteria, while providing valuable peer-to-peer interaction and experiences. Along with that, the Inkjet Summit provides access to the key suppliers that each play a critical role in the make-up of a successful inkjet solution.
In 2020, we will focus on “Market Forces Driving the Second Wave of Buyers” and include executive attendees from commercial, direct mail, transactional, publishing and in-plant audience segments. The Inkjet Summit will also announce the “Innovator of the Year” award, which will be given to a printer during our opening night, and “Innovator Insights” Case Studies will be included during our breakout sessions throughout the event.
New for 2020, the Inkjet Summit will be co-located with the new Wide-format Summit, which uses the same hosted model in the wide-format printing market covering Soft Signage for Graphic Applications (Textile), Production Display Graphics (Roll-to-Roll), and Production Display Graphics (Flatbed) applications. The events will feature separate conference programs but share evening functions, which will further enhance the networking opportunities.
