In-plants to Fill the Halls at Graph Expo
With just over a week to go until Graph Expo opens its gates, scores of in-plant managers are getting ready to make the trip to Chicago. More than 120 of them have signed up so far for the three in-plant events being hosted by In-plant Graphics, and many others plan to attend the in-plant luncheon being presented by the In-plant Printing and Mailing Association (IPMA).
Already IPG has filled every seat at the Xerox-sponsored breakfast session on Tuesday September 30, which will feature Xerox Marketing Manager Allen Lea talking with a panel of in-plant managers from the the State of Michigan, CoreLogic and Federated Insurance about adding value.
Managers can still sign up for the two remaining in-plant events, though:
- A free breakfast session featuring NAPL's Howie Fenton explaining the importance of benchmarking and how it can strengthen your in-plant, followed by a demonstration of a new benchmarking tool from Canon Solutions America called the Performance Challenge, which in-plants can use to examine their operation's strengths and weaknesses and formulate a plan for growth. Monday, September 29, 9:00-10:00, in room S102 A/B.
- A free lunch session in which Villanova University's Michael George will relate how Web-to-print has vastly improved his in-plant, and then explain what lies ahead for an in-plant after receiving approval to purchase Web-to-print software. Sponsored by Rochester Software Associates, this will take place Monday, September 29, 12:00-1:00, in room S102 A/B.
In-plants interested in attending these sessions should register ASAP to be assured of a seat.
For those managers who want to see even more of their in-plant peers, IPMA's In-plant Lunch & Learn Session (free to all in-plants) will take place on Tuesday, September 30 from 11:00-1:00 in Room N426abc. Register here.
