Last week in Phoenix, the In-plant Printing and Mailing Association (IPMA) held its seventh of eight Road Show events planned for 2023. It was hosted by Deer Valley Unified School District and drew 15 attendees from companies like Salt River Project and Alliance Defending Freedom.
Martin James, manager of Print Services at Deer Valley USD welcomed his in-plant peers, and then Denis Griff of Canon Solutions America gave a presentation on how in-plants can diversity to drive business growth. He was followed by Ricoh’s Ken Tucker with a presentation on “How to Fast Track Your Success for 2024.” A final session covered promotional product sales.
Attendees also visited vendor displays and enjoyed lunch. The day was capped by a tour of the in-plant.
The next and final IPMA Road Show will take place next week on Nov. 7 in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, hosted by Messiah University. IPI Editor Bob Neubauer will attend and offer a recap of the recent PRINTING United Expo.

Bob has served as editor of In-plant Impressions since October of 1994. Prior to that he served for three years as managing editor of Printing Impressions, a commercial printing publication. Mr. Neubauer is very active in the U.S. in-plant industry. He attends all the major in-plant conferences and has visited more than 180 in-plant operations around the world. He has given presentations to numerous in-plant groups in the U.S., Canada and Australia, including the Association of College and University Printers and the In-plant Printing and Mailing Association. He also coordinates the annual In-Print contest, co-sponsored by IPMA and In-plant Impressions.
