From a practical perspective, the close proximity and working relationship in-plants have with their customers, makes it unlikely such a breach could occur, says Rex Brooker, assistant director of Document Services at The Principal Financial Group, in Des Moines.
"A job of this type going through our facility would have had a heightened awareness within our management and production staff given the extremely sensitive nature of the content," Brooker points out. "As such, every step of the production workflow would have been closely monitored. As part of that monitoring process, our internal customer would likely have had an active role in the monitoring process due to our close working relationship.
