In March, nearly 30 in-plant managers from around the country gathered in San Diego for the 11th annual Print Shop Pro user group meeting, hosted by edu Business Solutions. Print Shop Pro is an in-plant print shop management and Web-to-print software solution. This year’s event showcased cutting-edge features and enhancements and offered attendees a glimpse into the future of Print Shop Pro with the ability to weigh in on planned development.
Notably, the addition of 1:1 training sessions proved to be a game-changer, providing customers with personalized assistance directly from edu support staff. These sessions received resounding praise from participants.
Tammy Slone, manager of Postal & Print Services at Cedarville University, shared her enthusiasm, saying, “I have been a customer since 2008 and continue to feel this is the most customer-centric company I work with, hands down. edu continually takes customer feedback and enhances the software to best meet the needs of our businesses.”
Attendees hailed predominantly from university and K-12 in-plants like Sacramento State, Grand Rapids Community College, Georgia State University, Cajon Valley USD, Long Beach USD, and Davis School District, but several government in-plants attended, such as the Cities of Colorado Springs and Oklahoma City, and Canyon County, Idaho.
Breakout sessions tailored to various industries fostered invaluable connections and knowledge sharing among in-plant leaders. Evening events added an extra layer of excitement, with a dinner cruise aboard the Bahia Belle and a dinner at Nicky Rottens on the scenic Coronado Island, captivating attendees and providing unforgettable networking opportunities.
Speakers like Candida Bothel-Hammond of San Diego County Office of Education, Danelle Sedore of Grand Rapids Community College, and Tammy Slone of Cedarville University brought insightful presentations on multiple use cases for creating landing pages in Print Shop Pro.
