On Friday, May 12, 43 in-plant managers and other attendees met at CHRISTUS Health Print Services in Tyler, Texas, for an In-plant Printing and Mailing Association (IPMA) Road Show event, the third of eight Road Shows planned in 2023 and the most well attended one yet.
In-plant managers attended from organizations such as Lockheed Martin, Richardson ISD, Nacogdoches ISD, Kilgore College, Tyler Junior College, Encompass Health, Kenneth Copeland Ministries, Texas Association of School Boards, and Houston Metropolitan Transit Authority, to name a few. A group of students from Carlisle High School also attended.
Del Shankle, Director of Operations, welcomed his peers and led a day of education that included a shop tour and ample time to visit the tabletop displays of the 13 sponsors.
Educational sessions covered topics like How Your Values Impact Your Outcome, Looking Good on Paper, and Fast Track Your Success. A panel of in-plant managers also discussed wide-format printing, automation, and working at every level of your organization.
The next IPMA Road Show will take place July 20 at Oregon State University.
