The year got off to a fast start for the In-plant Printing and Mailing Association (IPMA) when it held its first In-plant Road Show event in Orlando, Fla, last week. Hosted by Orange County Public Schools (OCPS), the Road Show brought 30 attendees together for a day of learning and connecting.
It started with a tour of the OCPS in-plant led by Manager David Lopez. Then Sarah Vickers, senior administrator of Printing and Mail Services, welcomed attendees and talked about the in-plant’s journey. Other sessions included:
- How to Leverage Technology for Success, by Ricoh's Kenneth Tucker
- Digital Printing 5.0: Current State & Future of Digital Printing, by Canon's Anthony Agliata
- The Value of Workflow, by Rochester Software Associates' Ben Parker
In-plant managers also had the opportunity to meet one-on-one with representatives from Canon, Ricoh, RSA, PCI, and Pitney Bowes at a mini vendor fair.
The next IPMA Road Show will take place March 25, at Oregon State University. Learn more here.
