After a three-week delay due to Hurricane Nicole, the In-plant Printing and Mailing Association held its final Road Show of 2022 this week at the Palm Beach County (Florida) Graphics Division. It included a tour of the Canon Innovation Center in Boca Raton.
The event featured educational sessions, a tour of the impressive operation, and ample time for in-plant managers to network.
Manager John D.L. Johnson led off the event with a presentation on the lifecycle of a document. Then attendees got to spend time at the vendor fair learning about sponsors’ offerings. Ricoh offered a session called “Expand Your Possibilities: Integrate – Automate – Innovate,” and then managers held a roundtable discussion, mostly centering on paper supply issues.
Following a luncheon sponsored by Mac Papers, in-plant attendees toured Palm Beach County’s print operation, featuring a Presstek 52DI press. The event concluded with a tour of the Canon Innovation Center. Here are some scenes from the road show.
