Integrated Methods Group Receives Women's Business Enterprise Council Certification
IMG, an industry experienced team of consultants that works to implement measurable improvements in enterprise and commercial print environments by helping clients streamline and transform their businesses into strategically focused more profitable entities, announced that it has received national certification from The Women's Business Enterprise Council (WBENC).
The company utilizes the principles of Lean Manufacturing, as well as methodologies of Six Sigma to approach assessment, benchmarking, automation and marketing strategies to deliver process improvements, optimization of resources and marketing strategies to generate cost savings and expand business.
“I am excited to be officially certified as a Woman-Owned Business Enterprise. I want to expand our business in both the In-plant, commercial print, and government (GPO) environments and the WBENC certification will give us opportunities to grow," said Karen Keenan, founder and president of IMG.
The WBENC certification, for women-owned businesses, certifies that a company is at least 51% woman/women owned. It is the most rigorous and sought-after certification of its kind. Working with WBENC certified companies can help corporations fulfill contract obligations. Companies and government agencies that include women-owned businesses as their vendors show their commitment to fostering diversity.
