Hunkeler Innovationdays 2023 will take place from February 27 to March 2 at the exhibition center in Lucerne, Switzerland. This international print industry event will be focused on automated processes. Many of the almost 100 exhibitors have announced European and world premieres at their stands.
IPI Editor Bob Neubauer will be attending the event, as will representatives from the U.S. Government Publishing Office, which recently added a new finishing line featuring Hunkeler equipment.
The global elite in the fields of digital printing and paper processing will convene at Hunkeler Innovationdays 2023, at the Messe Luzern exhibition center in Lucerne, Switzerland. 2023 will mark the fourteenth staging of this important event, under the theme “Next Level Automation”.
Continuous workflow automation will be one of the focal points of Hunkeler Innovationdays 2023. Book manufacturers, commercial printers , transactional printers and direct mailers are seeing print run lengths decline, driving up the number of makeready processes. Efficient new production lines must minimize or eliminate manual interventions to save costs and increase margins. The “white paper in, finished product out” business model depends on advanced automation. Hunkeler AG will demonstrate the leading-edge automation now available on their Gen8 production system platform.
Almost 100 partners will present their latest products in all areas of digital printing and processing in Halls 1 and 2. These partners include all the major manufacturers of printing and finishing systems, software developers and providers of finishing materials and consumables. As in previous years, some of the exhibitors will again use the exclusive event to offer a European or global premiere of their latest innovations.
The Hunkeler Innovationdays have always been characterised by a unique concept and a collegial atmosphere, and that spirit continues today. In the two, comparatively compact halls, all major players in the space meet up with owners, CEOs and management staff, making this a unique international industry event. Several exhibitors collaborate closely to demonstrate tightly-integrated production processes. Visitors also gain insight into a wide variety of practical, real-world applications that have immediate business relevance.
