There will be plenty for in-plant managers to do at Graph Expo 16, in Orlando, Fla.
Besides the three free in-plant breakfast/lunch sessions In-plant Graphics is hosting, the In-plant Printing and Mailing Association will hold a luncheon open to all in-plant managers, featuring two very interesting speakers: Dr. Joe Webb will deliver a report on the state of the in-plant industry, and Jimmy Vainstein of The World Bank’s Printing and Multimedia Services unit will detail how in-plants can use omni-channel technology to achieve a seamless integration between print and digital media. The IPMA luncheon will take place on Monday, Sept. 26. Register here.
In addition, Graph Expo has an entire educational track devoted to in-plant challenges and solutions. Sessions include:
- Sun. Sep. 25, 1:30 - 3:00 p.m. "Printing By-The-Numbers: Lean/Six Sigma Methodology & Metrics." Speaker: Gordon Rivera, Allan Hancock College, Cal Poly State University.
- Mon. Sep. 26, 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. "In-plant Panel: Conquering the Top Eight In-plant Challenges." Moderated once again by Elisha Kasinskas of Rochester Software Associates, this year's panel will include Amy Bellows, Mutual of Omaha Insurance; John Cruser, Bloomberg; Mike George, Villanova University; and Gayle Robinson, Tanner Health System.
- Mon. Sep. 26, 1:30 - 3:00 p.m. "How to Increase Your In-plant's Performance and Value." Speaker: Howie Fenton, VP Consulting Services, IMG.
- Tue. Sep. 27, 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. "Top 10 Tips to Build a Better In-plant." Speaker: Elisha Kasinskas, marketing director, Rochester Software Associates.
Also, IPMA is once more hosting the In-plant Place, a booth where in-plants can stop by to network and relax. Find it in booth 2425.
You can also swing by the In-plant Graphics booth (# 611) to grab the September issue and let Editor Bob Neubauer know what's going on in your in-plant.
