Friday Flashback: IPMA 2009 Conference

In-plant Impressions Editor Bob Neubauer has been shooting and producing videos of in-plant events for more than 17 years. They now provide a nostalgic record of in-plant conferences past and a look at managers who have since left the industry – along with younger versions of managers still in the business.

This video of the 2009 In-plant Printing and Mailing Association conference in Rochester, New York, captures the enthusiasm of that event, which toured both the Xerox and Kodak facilities and featured speakers like Frank Romano, Barb Pellow, Howie Fenton, Wes Friesen and Jerry Sampson. Watch this archival video for a look back in time at the in-plant industry as it was 15 years ago.

Bob has served as editor of In-plant Impressions since October of 1994. Prior to that he served for three years as managing editor of Printing Impressions, a commercial printing publication. Mr. Neubauer is very active in the U.S. in-plant industry. He attends all the major in-plant conferences and has visited more than 180 in-plant operations around the world. He has given presentations to numerous in-plant groups in the U.S., Canada and Australia, including the Association of College and University Printers and the In-plant Printing and Mailing Association. He also coordinates the annual In-Print contest, co-sponsored by IPMA and In-plant Impressions.
