Free Lunch for In-plants
PRINT 13 is just a little over three weeks away. In addition to the more than 550 exhibitors showing their wares at the largest U.S. graphic arts event of the year, the show will feature numerous educational sessions geared toward in-plants.
In addition, In-plant Graphics is hosting a free in-plant luncheon on Monday, September 9, just for in-plants. Taking place from 12:15–1:15 p.m. in Room S106A of McCormick Place, the lunch event will give in-plant managers a chance to relax and meet one another. IPG Editor Bob Neubauer will offer his thoughts on the in-plant industry and give attendees an opportunity to discuss issues they are facing and services they are adding.
In addition, Tawsha Bone-Worrall, of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, will reveal the tools and processes UPMC uses to gain control and insight, monitor external print spending and maximize the efficiency of its print center. She will detail how she worked with management and finance to develop the Print Center’s ROI using a road map to lay out how the operation will manage and support print projects. The project is slated to provide significant savings, increase efficiency and ease of compliance, and add new staff to support the new business model.
