Free In-plant Luncheon at Graph Expo to Cover Web-to-print
Web-to-print software can add new life to your in-plant, making it easier for customers to send you work and opening the doors to new business. But the process of acquiring and implementing it can seem daunting. To help you make sense of it all, Mike George, director of General Services for Villanova University, will relate his experiences with Web-to-print during a free IPG luncheon during Graph Expo, sponsored by Rochester Software Associates.
Taking place on Monday, September 29, from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. (room S102 A/B), the luncheon is open only to in-plant managers. IPG Editor Bob Neubauer will be on hand to greet managers and discuss their Web-to-print ambitions. Then Mike George will explain what lies ahead for an in-plant after receiving approval to purchase Web-to-print software. Villanova was the first university in the country to implement Web-to-print software for faculty, staff and students, so George will share some of his invaluable experiences and lessons learned, along with critical next steps to succeed.
Printing in the university environment is complex. Web-to-print simplifies the ordering process and streamlines production. But what you do after you decide to purchase the software can make or break your implementation. George will outline a simplified three-stage process covering such considerations as:
- Decision to purchase
- Installation
- Training
- Launch
- Ongoing use
- Marketing the application
Branding, marketing and training on the new workflow make crucial first impressions. Communicating ease of use, functionality and benefits to users are necessary to get and keep adoption high. Find out more by registering today for this free lunch session.
