Equipment and software aren’t the only reasons in-plants will be heading to PRINTING United Expo in September. Networking and education will be big draws as well, and In-plant Impressions plans to provide both.
Once again, IPI will host a free lunchtime In-plant Forum during PRINTING United Expo to bring in-plant managers together during the show. Sponsored by Ricoh, and in partnership with the In-plant Printing and Mailing Association (IPMA), the forum will take place on day one of the three-day Expo (Sept. 10-12 in Las Vegas). It will focus on artificial intelligence, and is sure to be a fascinating exploration into this topic and how in-plants can use AI to improve their operations.
The In-plant Forum is open only to in-plants. Managers must register in advance, and space is limited. It will take place in Room S221 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. (If you haven’t yet registered to attend the Expo, do that first. Click here for free Expo registration courtesy of Ricoh, using this code: 177411.)
This is what we have in store for in-plants:
The AI Evolution: A Discussion on Artificial Intelligence and Print
Tuesday Sept. 10. 12:00 - 1:30 p.m. (Luncheon)
Sponsored by Ricoh.
AI is making inroads everywhere, including in printing operations, and this session will explain how it can be used to improve and enhance your shop. AI can enable predictive maintenance on equipment and analyze data to boost your efficiency. It can streamline order processing, improve color management, detect defects, help with inventory management, and provide market insights through customer behavior analysis. AI can optimize your workflow, enhance your use of variable data, provide design assistance, and much more. This session will offer examples of how AI is being used by print providers and detail available products that incorporate AI. Attending this session is a must for every in-plant. Register here to attend the In-plant Forum.
The In-plant Forum is not the only activity PRINTING United Expo has in store for in-plants, however. IPI’s partner on the forum, IPMA, will host a breakfast session on Sept. 11, 7:30-9:00 a.m. in room N243. All in-plants are invited, IPMA members and non-members. Register for IPMA's breakfast here.
After the show floor closes that day, IPMA will also host a happy hour for in-plants, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. It will be a great opportunity to mingle with your in-plant peers and compare notes about what you have seen on the show floor.
