At Graph Expo 16, our friends at INKISH TV, a TV-channel dedicated to the printing industry, caught up with Frank Romano, world-renowned printing expert and Rochester Institute of Technology professor emeritus. Always looking for the next big thing, Romano discusses the latest printing industry trends and why the industry should focus on the future. "I'm trying to educate the industry on where we're going," says Romano.
Romano tells his students:
"Whatever I teach you will be obsolete by the time you graduate. So, what I'm teaching you is how to deal with change, how to look at it, how to predict it, how to grow with it, because that's what you're learning."

"I keep track of what's going to happen in the future," adds Romano. "So, many of my seminars are on the future of printing, the future of technology, where we're going, and again I can draw the parallels between how we developed it and how we evolved."
