When Curtis Ebdon started at Fairfield University Design and Digital Print Services (DDP) in 2010, the in-plant was operating in the red. In the years since, he has transformed the business, upgrading the department’s design capabilities, implementing value-added services and assigning account executives to proactively work with clients.
A new Xerox blog highlights the changes Ebdon brought to his Fairfield, Conn., in-plant, which offers design services, digital printing of classroom materials, color digital and offset printing of brochures, postcards, event posters, and 36˝ wide-format printing. The most recent addition was a a Xerox Color 1000i Press to complement the shop's Xerox Nuvera monochrome printers, and a Web-to-print system from Rochester Software Associates.
