Summary
Printers are rightfully concerned about lessening the environmental impact of their operations. Environmentally conscious printers can make a more informed decision by looking at the amount of chemistry, water and energy required by each plate they are considering. Reduced-chemistry plates, "chemistry-free" plates and processless plates can further reduce the environmental footprint.
