Duplo to Highlight Print Embellishment With Spot UV Coater

Duplo USA, a leader in digital print finishing, will showcase key solutions that HP Graphic Arts users can leverage to create a production finishing environment in booth #58 at DSCOOP Dallas. The spotlight will be on print embellishment with the sought-after DDC-810 Raised Spot UV Coater and the introduction of the new Variable Coating Barcode Kit. Other solutions on display include the DC-746 integrated folding system, UD-300 diecutter, and the new DFL-500 coat/foil/laminator.

Live 15-minute presentations will take place inside the Duplo booth to demonstrate how a printer of any size can produce complex, high quality jobs and grow profit margins with only a few strategic pieces of equipment. The presentation will occur during the Solutions Showcase on March 26 and 27 at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

New Variable Coating Barcode Kit

With a successful pre-launch at last year’s DSCOOP, the DDC-810 raised spot UV coater has taken the print industry by storm with its compact size, ease of use, and fast-tracked delivery and installation which allows users to begin running their first jobs within hours. It’s a design-driven solution that utilizes 600x600 dpi inkjet technology, UV lamp curing, and camera image registration to deliver production output with texture and depth.

The new Variable Coating Barcode Kit adds variable capabilities for images and text. With this option, the DDC-810 can read 1D or 2D barcodes on each sheet and automatically load the pre-ripped spot UV layer file. The barcode kit also provides the ability to utilize hot folders to help streamline the operation by reducing the number of mouse clicks the operator needs to make.
