The San Diego County Office of Education’s Graphic Productions department recently upgraded its digital printing capabilities with a new Ricoh Pro C9500 color production printer and two Ricoh Pro 8320 black-and-white production printers, all with in-line bookletmakers.
Within the first week of installation, the in-plant produced more than a million impressions on the equipment, including event programs, brochures, business cards, annual reports, testing packets, yearbooks, and posters. Print quality has greatly improved with the new equipment, says Manager Candida Bothel-Hammond. Colors are sharp and grayscales are crisp and clean.
