The 12-employee shop can now handle more long-run jobs, Klit says, and is able to produce them faster thanks to the 34DI.
“Our ability to guarantee a fast turnaround is an important aspect of our success with the press, and our campus customers love the quality,” he says.
The DI replaced one of the shop’s two-color Heidelberg Quickmasters. Prior to getting the DI, the in-plant had been doing a lot of its four-color work on a Xerox DocuColor 5252. That device will continue printing the short-run jobs, but the long-run four-color work has been moved to the DI.
