The In-plant Printing and Mailing Association (IPMA) is thrilled to announce the winners of the 2024 IPMA Awards. The goal of the IPMA Awards program is to identify IPMA member organizations that are excelling and prospering. The in-plants will be recognized for their outstanding performance in a ceremony at the IPMA 2024 conference in Des Moines, Iowa.
In-plant of the Year: American Academy of Family Physicians
Purpose: Recognizes an entire in-plant business for outstanding performance. Whether the in-plant is a combination of print and mail, print only or mail only, all members are eligible. While contributions of individual managers are important, this award judges and recognizes the efforts of the entire in-house staff.
In-house Promotional Excellence Award: University of Texas at Austin
Purpose: Recognizes excellence in promotional vehicles and/or campaigns developed by and used to promote an organization’s in-house printing or mailing facility.
Innovation Award: CHRISTUS Health
Recognizes an organization that has shown creative and innovative ways to improve a process or business model. Innovation may be technology, customer or process-driven.
“The IPMA Awards are a way to recognize and reward in-plants for their excellent promotional activities and campaigns, their creative and innovative solutions or approaches, and also shine a light on in-plants for their outstanding performance and accomplishments,” said Ben Fowler, IPMA Board Member Representative & Awards Chair. “Our IPMA Awards are hopefully a way to compliment amazing staff and boost morale, as well as communicate to customers what a shop can do.
“Our committee was so very impressed with the in-plant organizations who applied this year, and we were honored to award each of the three winners. I encourage you to speak with our IPMA Award winners who might attend conference in order to gather as many ideas and perspectives as possible.
“Thank you to all the in-plants who took the time to enter, but congratulations to the deserving winners. It is exciting to see what is being done around our organization, and especially inspiring to see what this year’s In-plant of the Year was able to achieve. I look forward to seeing our winners recognized this June at our conference in Des Moines, Iowa.”
