More Accolades For Océ Arizona Series

For the eighth year in a row, an Océ Arizona series printer, from Canon Solutions America, has been honored with a Specialty Graphic & Imaging Association Product of the Year Award. Three models received the award this year at the SGIA Expo held Oct. 22-24 in Las Vegas.

The Océ Arizona series printers won in the following categories:

• Océ Arizona 318 GL, UV Flatbed (
• Océ Arizona 318 GL, UV Flatbed Plus White (
• Océ Arizona 6170 XTS, UV Flatbed Plus White (>$200K MSRP)

The entry image was processed using ONYX Thrive Océ Edition print workflow software, a scalable print production solution based on Adobe PDF Print Engine technology. ONYX Thrive software manages the wide-format print production workflow process offering print service providers accurate, predictable, high quality printing results, helping to reduce costly errors.

Latest Members of the Océ Arizona Series Family

The Océ Arizona 6100 series printers made their worldwide debut earlier this year at FESPA in Munich, Germany and were introduced to the United States market in May. The new UV flatbed printer series was purposely built for higher-volume production. The new printer series features an extra-large 8x10' vacuum table with two independent printing zones, allowing for simultaneous printing as well as media loading/unloading.

Throughout the Expo, guests were given the opportunity to see firsthand how the Océ Arizona 6100 series enables sign and display print service providers to dramatically increase productivity and increase their display graphics revenue with work and specialty applications that were previously not possible.
