Canfield & Tack Swings Deal To Acquire Dellas Graphics

ROCHESTER, NY—Canfield & Tack Commercial Printing & Fulfillment, one of the region's largest full-service general commercial printers, is acquiring Dellas Graphics, based in Syracuse, NY, to expand its geographic reach and presence in Central New York. Dellas will become a division of Canfield & Tack.

"This is an exciting opportunity for both companies," said Ray Brown, chairman of Canfield & Tack. "More than a third of our business already comes from outside Rochester including a significant amount in New York City and the Tri-state area (New York, New Jersey, Connecticut), so the acquisition will expand our reach and bring sales and support services closer to our customers."

Canfield & Tack's annual revenues exceed $14 million, bringing combined sales of the new company to nearly $20 million. Entirely employee owned, the company (ranked No. 287 on the 2012 Printing Impressions 400 with $14.9 million in sales) has a staff of 72, bringing total employment with the acquisition to more than 100.

Dellas Graphics provides offset and digital printing, mailing and fulfillment services. Owner and President Thomas Dellas purchased the company in 1979, building it from seven employees to more than 30 and growing sales from $150,000 to almost $5 million.
