The best way to evaluate black-and-white copiers is to ask the vendor some of the following questions:

1. What is the maximum paper capacity of the device? Some 50-ppm units can have as much as 7,650 sheets on board.

2. How robust is the finisher? Some manufacturers will admit that their finishers may not be suitable for an in-plant operation.
