Connected Digital Copier
The Hitachi Koki DDC35n is a connected digital copier solution for departmental workgroups. The DDC35n delivers 35 pages per minute (ppm) with first copy out at 4.7 seconds. Image quality is 600x600 dpi. Numerous digital copier functions include digital image rotation, duplex copying, 2-in-1 and 4-in-1 page composition and memory recall. The optional print controller creates a high-speed network printer with flexible finishing options such as stapling, hole-punching and more with 3,750 sheet capacity from five trays up to 11x17˝.
High-speed Productivity
The Kyocera Mita Vi7360 is a 73-cpm digital copier/printer. It offers standard unlimited stackless duplexing, finishing and saddle stitching, with all-position stapling. Standard paper capacity is 2,150 sheets; this can increase to 6,150 sheets with the optional 4K Paper Deck. Other benefits include scan-once-print-many technology, 64 MB standard memory and image rotating.
Enterprising System
Konica Business Technologies' 7075 Enterprise Document System is a digital copier/printer that can produce 500,000 pages per month and 75 pages per minute. Two tandem 7075s can deliver 150 pages per minute and 1 million impressions per month, as either a copier or a printer. Paper tray capacity can increase from 2,150 sheets, including a 150-sheet bypass, to 6,150 sheets. All paper sources accept up to 110-pound index.
Digital Copying For Everyone
The network-compatible Océ 3165, from Océ-USA, brings high-speed digital copying and printing to everyone. It scans letter-size originals at 60 images per minute and offers full-speed duplexing up to 11x17˝. It prints 62 images per minute at 600x600 dpi, providing full-speed, collated printing for multiple copies. The 3165 has a 3,750-sheet capacity and handles stocks ranging from transparencies to card stock, in sizes from 51⁄2x81⁄2˝ to 11x17˝. Print Logic remote client printer control management software provides real-time, bi-directional communication between users and their print jobs.
Speedy Device
The Ricoh Aficio 850 black-and-white digital imaging system boasts a speed of 85 ppm. It features touch panel CRT controls with dual language capabilities and six paper sources for a total on line capacity of 7,750 sheets. The Connect Copy feature links two Aficio 850s providing double the output speed to 170 ppm for high-volume production, providing an alternative to costly high-speed systems. Ricoh's exclusive Document Server and Editor technology stores print jobs internally or to a rewritable CD.
Centre For Copying
The Xerox Document Centre 400 Series includes six digital copier/printer models. Each model features the same user interface, consistent functionality and consistent connectivity options. With printing, copying, scanning and faxing capabilities at speeds from 20 to 75 ppm, Document Centre allows users in the networked office to quickly manage, store and share electronic and paper documents. Features include: concurrent scanning, printing and protocol support; storage of up to 100 print jobs; scan to document repository, HTML, workflow, e-mail without a PC; and batch scanning.
Imager Is Everything
Sharp has four new Imager printer/copiers. The AR-287, AR-337, AR 407 and AR 507 copy and print at speeds of 28, 33, 40 and 50 ppm respectively. Each can be configured as a workgroup copier/printer with network scanning capabilities. Compatible with multiple network operating systems and protocols, these machines offer mid- to high-volume offices a digital document solution for presentation preparation, e-mail distribution and conversion of hard copy documents to digital format. Also, users can scan a document or image into the Imager and e-mail it.
Especially For In-plants
Launched at Seybold and shown again last month at Graph Expo, the Minolta DiALTA Di750 is a 75 page-per-minute digital copier that can be upgraded to support network printing and scanning. In addition, two Di750s can be clustered for 150-ppm productivity. Marketed for in-plants, the Di750 holds up to 6,750 sheets of paper and can feed paper weights of 16-lb. bond through 110-lb. index paper from all five paper sources. The optional booklet maker finisher offers eight-position stapling, center folding and saddle stitching.
OK To Cluster
Toshiba's DP8070 networked digital copier/printer offers an 80-ppm print speed with a 600x2,400-dpi resolution. It comes standard with 32 MB of memory and a 3.2 GB hard drive for document storage.
