Christopher Donlon, international president of the In-plant Printing and Mailing Association’s (IPMA) board of directors has appointed Ben Fowler, manager of Document Services at Shelter Insurance Companies, as IPMA’s member representative.
“I am pleased to announce that Ben Fowler has accepted my appointment as member representative for the IPMA board of directors,” said Donlon. “This position is significant in that IPMA is just a name without the support of our members. Our annual educational conference is a testament to the importance of membership. We openly share our deep appreciation for our unique industry with one another, and Ben fits that mold by demonstrating leadership not only at Shelter Insurance Companies but also as our In-Print and IPMA Awards chair. I welcome Ben to the IPMA board and look forward to his contributions as we continue advancing as the leading association for in-plant printing businesses.”
Julio Rosado, director of the New York Police Department's Printing Section, is vacating the member representative position. His years of service to IPMA have been engaging and educating. His position within a very specific government services segment has offered him unique knowledge and opportunities few of us have had the pleasure of experiencing.
“It is my honor to accept this opportunity to serve IPMA in this new way,” said Fowler. “Over the years I have benefitted from my IPMA membership in countless ways due to so many supportive and talented people in the IPMA family. I am always happy to help other members, and our organization, whenever I can. I am excited to assist the IPMA leadership in growing our membership and achieving our group’s goals moving forward.”
