To handle its digital printing, screen printing, and warehousing/fulfillment needs, Bank of America relies on a Support Services team made up of 300 employees. What makes this team unique, however, is that every Support Services employee has a cognitive or developmental disability.
“Support Services is one way we are creating an environment where all employees, including those with disabilities, have an opportunity to succeed and achieve their goals, and is a demonstration of our broader commitment to strong environmental, social, and governance practices,” says Vice Chairman Anne Finucane.
A video on the Bank of America site gives an inside look at this in-house operation and the people who make it so successful.
"We’re just like any other business," explains Support Services Senior Executive Mark Feinour. "We just happen to have a different talent pool that we draw from.”
