LAS VEGAS— March 28, 2007—The Monte Carlo Resort and Casino, Las Vegas, was the site of the Printable Technologies®, Inc., 2007 User Conference, March 14-16, 2007. Printable Technologies, leading provider of Web to Print workflow and Variable Data Printing (VDP) solutions and Software as a Service (SaaS), and six co-sponsors hosted 170 participants.
The event - built around the theme “New Power/New Possibilities” - was kicked off by Andrew Paparozzi, NAPL Vice President and Chief Economist. Special interest learning opportunities included “Cross Media and Direct Marketing ROI” with Steve Tingiris, President/CEO of ProspectSmarter; “Database Cleansing and Manipulation” with Professor John Leininger of Clemson University; and “Sales Strategies for VDP and Web to Print Services” with Peter Winters and David Tashji, The Winters Group.
At the close of the event, participants were given the long-term view of the Printable Technologies Product Roadmap by Josh Roach, Chief Technology Officer. As a special “thank you” each attendee was given a free license to FusionProTM Desktop 4.1, the latest release of the popular document composition and variable data printing application.
“This event was a wonderful networking and learning experience for everyone who attended,” said Coleman Kane, President/CEO of Printable Technologies. “It was clear from the session participation that our users not only learned from us; they provided input that will result in enhanced capabilities in future releases. At the same time, it validated that users of tools from Printable Technologies are both technically savvy and good business managers. We look forward to the next event March 12-14, 2008!”
“Printable did an outstanding job sharing their ‘Product Roadmap for 2007 and Beyond’ with us and committing to the timetables. It reinforced our belief that we chose the very best web to print solution seven years ago and we still have the right application for today and tomorrow.” - Pam Junge, FP Horak
“The general sessions reinforced the strategy change our company made two years ago - to become a complete marketing information company. In the special Business Track, I learned how to better use the products to provide different solutions for different clients. The one-on-one time I spent with people from Printable will help me develop a long term partnership to implement Cross Media marketing.” - Grady Barnard, Cross Media Management
“I thought it was one of the best user’s group conferences that I have attended. I was on a ‘mission’ to learn to sell the product and I met so many great people that were willing to share their experiences with me. I am even more confident now that I made the right decision to purchase the Printable web to print solution.” - Mari Reid, Alonzo Printing
“Having been a past attendee of Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Conference, Oracle World, and the user conferences of several ERP vendors, I must say that the Printable 2007 User Conference was top notch. The speakers, breakout sessions, food & entertainment were all very comparable to the larger events I have attended in the past.” - Mark Donatelli, AccuData Integrated Marketing, formerly AccuData America
Six co-sponsors - AccuData Integrated Marketing, Adobe, Canon, EFITM, HP, and Pace Systems Group - displayed their products and services at the event. In addition to the “mini-trade event” were training and educational sessions in two tracks, a Business Track and a Tech Track, which included topics such as:
• How to Sell Printable to Your Customer Base
• Integration and Workflow with Web Services and Data Feeds
• Demo Techniques and Pricing Strategies for FusionPro Web
• Advanced JavaScript for FusionPro - a 3-hour, hands-on training session.
