Outstanding Contributors Honored

During the awards banquet on the final night of this year’s IPMA conference, the association honored four people who have been tireless behind-the-scenes supporters of IPMA for many years. The four received IPMA’s Outstanding Contributors award. They were:

• Debra Payne Benson, vertical account manager, education and government, with Kodak’s Graphic Communications Group.

• Mike Loyd, IPMA’s past president and current program marketing manager for Ricoh.

• Bob Wamsher, manager of Printing Services at The Hershey Co., and provider of many chocolate treats at IPMA conferences over the years.

• Larry Wright, manager of Publication Support at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and former IPMA awards chairman.

IPG joins IPMA in congratulating these four for their hard work over the years in supporting the association.

BY MOST accounts, the In-plant Printing and Mailing Association (IPMA) conference in Tunica, Miss., last month was one of the best ever. Attendance was up, enthusiasm was high and the presentations were engaging, informative and well attended.

True, it was a virtual oven outside, with daily temps in the mid-90s, but the action was all indoors, from the big vendor fair on the first day, to the excitement of the awards banquet on the last.

Bob has served as editor of In-plant Impressions since October of 1994. Prior to that he served for three years as managing editor of Printing Impressions, a commercial printing publication.
