At its conference in Las Vegas, IPMA changed its name, announced a new business plan and promised a stronger focus on recruitment. Its plans were greeted with hopeful enthusiasm by attendees, whose numbers were the highest in years.

Warm and sunny Nevada spring weather graced the three-day conference, which took place two months earlier than usual. It featured numerous educational sessions, roundtables and a half-day vendor fair. Attendees got a tour of the nearby Reprographics operation at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and saw its internally designed online ordering system in action.

Bob has served as editor of In-plant Impressions since October of 1994. Prior to that he served for three years as managing editor of Printing Impressions, a commercial printing publication. Mr. Neubauer is very active in the U.S. in-plant industry. He attends all the major in-plant conferences and has visited more than 180 in-plant operations around the world.
