Andy Fetherman has been promoted to president and CEO of Muller Martini North America. Fetherman is a prominent figure in the graphic arts community and is recognized as a leader in the digital finishing market segment. He has been with Muller Martini since 1994 and has been an instrumental member in guiding Muller Martini’s digital efforts since 2000.
His unique ability to understand the print process from file to the finished product is the result of 30 years of engineering, consulting and management of the complete printing process. He is often looked upon as a font of information when it comes to the development of solutions in the finishing world.
Perhaps his strongest asset is his ability to communicate complex solutions in ways that are easy to understand and implement at growing organizations in the printing industry. His award-winning speaking record is a testament to that.
“I am humbled by this opportunity provided to me by my peers at Muller Martini,” says Fetherman. I look forward to using my knowledge gained during my employ here to further advance our technologies in this exciting graphic arts community.”
In his new role, Fetherman will continue to manage all sales activities of Muller Martini from its corporate headquarters in Hauppauge (Long Island), New York. He will also lead an executive management team that will guide all other aspects of the company’s North American operations. This includes a direct service team and a support staff for finance, HR and IT out of Hauppauge, as well as a parts distribution hub, rebuilding operation and the Print Finishing Center (demo room) in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
“I look forward to working together with our progressive, close-knit team of employees, as we all continue to share in the successes of our organization through many challenging and prosperous times to come,” Fetherman says.
Fetherman holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electrical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology and an MBA in Executive Management from St. John’s University. He married his wife Mary in 1993 and is the proud father of two adult children, Juliana and Michael.
